Zillow Preview Expands the Capabilities of the Platform
Zillow has introduced Zillow Preview, a product designed to make pre-market home listings publicly visible on its platforms. Because of this integration, individuals will now be able to view homes before the properties officially hit the active market via Zillow and Trulia.
The Zillow Preview service launches with participation from several major brokerages and franchisors. These include Keller Williams, REMAX, HomeServices of America, Side, and United Real Estate. The firms will make their pre-market home listings available exclusively on Zillow, Trulia, and their own brokerage and agent sites.
Under this model, buyers can discover these listings in search results, save and share them, and connect with either the listing agent or a Zillow partner agent. Sellers, on the other hand, benefit from broader exposure during the preview period. Participating agents receive elevated search placement, free connections when buyers reach out directly to the listing agent through Zillow, and a potential share of revenue if a Zillow-qualified connection results in a closed transaction through the company’s preferred agent network.
