Pre-Engineered AI Infrastructure

Vertiv SmartIT Simplifies Data Center Deployments

Vertiv has introduced pre-engineered AI infrastructure through its SmartIT platform, combining essential data center systems into a factory-tested solution. Unlike installations requiring separate equipment integration, SmartIT brings power distribution, liquid cooling, rack infrastructure, and monitoring together, allowing organizations to deploy high-density AI computing with less on-site preparation.

Built around NVIDIA MGX and OCP ORV3 architectures, the platform supports installations in existing commercial buildings and newly constructed data centers. Its modular design allows customers to expand from individual racks to larger configurations without redesigning the underlying infrastructure. Integrated leak detection and automated monitoring also help operators manage equipment performance.

For enterprises, research institutions, and colocation providers, SmartIT offers a way to simplify deployment and reduce coordination between equipment suppliers. Its standardized configuration can shorten installation timelines while helping businesses expand AI computing capacity as operational demands increase.
