Dog Haus Has Just Added New Pork Al Pastor Sausage

Continuing its ongoing Absolute Würst Sausage Series, Dog Haus has just added a new Mexican-inspired Pork Al Pastor Sausage.

The new menu item debuted on May 1, 2023, and pays homage to the Mexican influence in California – the brand's home state. The new Pork Al Pastor Sausage is made from fresh ground hormone- and antibiotic-free pork sausage blended with chiles, garlic, Mexican oregano, and pineapple. The unique combination of ingredients delivers the smoky flavor of a classic al pastor taco, along with a subtle sweetness from the pineapple. As Dog Haus’ Würstmacher Adam Gertler put it, "We came as close to perfecting the taste of Southern California’s delicious street tacos as possible, only minus the tortilla... you’ll be able to taste the sweetness of the pineapple and the extra kick from the chiles and Mexican oregano."

The new Pork Al Pastor Sausage can be enjoyed the 'Würst Way' on a King’s Hawaiian roll, 'Your Way' with your chosen combination of toppings, the 'Corn Dog Way; covered in Dog Haus’ signature root beer batter, or the 'Sliced Way' with just the sausage itself and a side of chipotle aioli.
