A team of designers comprised of Soobin Cho, Junyoung Lee, Seoyeong Lee, and Hyunsub Shin created the Plat. The Plat is a unique desktop accessory that has a modern aesthetic with various functions. It seamlessly blends everyday tasks with the art of cooking.
The concept of incorporating various elements into the product is inspired by the process of cooking itself. The design philosophy of Plat means to blend a sense of familiarity with novelty together in one form by fusing elements from the kitchen. The cohesive product works as a wireless charging dock, it can also activate an ambient light, and offer a place to hold audio devices or other small items laying around the desk.
