Fermented Microbe Protein Powders

The New Planta Protein Powder Features Solar Foods' Air Protein

The Ambrosia Collective has harnessed. Solar Foods' unique 'air protein' to create its new Planta protein powder.

Available in a ready-to-mix powder in an enticing Salted Caramel Cold Brew flavor, the new Planta protein powder is packed with zero sugar and 20 grams of protein per serving. The protein comes from Solein, which is an air protein developed by the Finnish food-tech start-up Solar Foods. The protein is made from a microbe found in Finnish nature, which is then fermented using carbon dioxide and electricity. The air protein has a wide variety of applications. As Ambrosia Collective's Co-Founder, Sean Torbati, explains: “We are very proud to be working with Solar Foods to incorporate Solein into our Planta formula and to bring this innovation to consumers through Planta”.
