Pharrell X adidas NMD Human Race Released a Green Colorway

Pharrell x adidas NMD Human Race sneakers will now be offered in green. The artist recently posted images on his social media channels of the sneaker but neither him or adidas have disclosed a release date. Although the product was initially announced in yellow, a red colorway was presented a few days later, and now the green colorway has been revealed.

Considering the collection is entitled 'Human Race' and with new color releases announced daily, it wouldn't be surprising if the series of shoes is tied to the Olympics. Although it's just a hunch, each color so far is also a color of one of the Olympic rings. Matching the color of the shoes to the color of the rings fits perfectly with the 'Human Race' concept: the Olympic logo is based on colors represented in the world's flags and the Olympics is literally a human race in sports.

The notion of the shoes being tied to the Olympics is just one example of how the brand is able to keep its consumers on their toes and foster conversation about the new line.
