Kendrick Lamar's pgLang Unveils New Chuck 70 Converse Design

pgLang, an American media company founded by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free, has partnered with footwear giant Converse to launch a two-piece collection.
The new collab sees the pgLang rework Converse's iconic Chuck 70 Hi and the Pro Leather silhouettes through its own unique design codes. Overall, both models arrive with a minimalist design that leverages a creamy colorway and an innovative lacing system. Instead of traditional laces holes, the new sneakers feature metallic D-rings, lending them a more premium aesthetic.
In addition, pgLang branding is located on the laterals of the Pro Leather and on the medial side of the Chuck 70. Finally, rounding out the design of both models is the addition of exposed stitching, which for the Chuck 70 comes in a light brown hue, while the Pro Leather dons blue embroidery.
