Fitness Professional-Focused Scholarships

International Personal Trainer Academy Offers Funding

The International Personal Trainer Academy — or IPTA, for short — has initiated a pilot scholarship program in partnership with The Doe Fund. This move will provide complementary certification packages for aspiring fitness professionals.

The International Personal Trainer Academy x Doe Fund initiative sees the donation of five scholarships, which include access to the organization's NCCA-accredited Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Specialist programs, along with associated career development materials that will serve to address any practical skills gaps. This access to resources and education is estimated to have a total value of $8,000 USD per scholarship, meaning the initial donation is estimated to be $40,000 USD.

The initial donation is identified as a pilot phase. Following its success, the International Personal Trainer Academy "plans to expand the scholarship initiative to $100,000 or more in total scholarship funding."
