This Thai peanut hummus recipe combines Middle Eastern and Asian cuisines. Created by Alexa Peduzzi from the blog Fooduzzi, the homemade spread contains protein-packed chickpeas, but goes a step further by also incorporating nuts. While this dish might not be suitable for people with food allergies, it makes an energizing and tasty snack that is perfect for vegetarians.

The recipe for Thai peanut hummus trades out the traditional tahini or sesame seed paste for peanut butter instead. The multi-cultural dip also calls for delicious ingredients like Sriracha (or your preferred hot sauce), ginger and garlic. Like normal hummus, it contains lime zest and juice, green onion and cilantro, but this version includes honey (or maple syrup) and roughly chopped peanuts as well.
