Pathways-Shropshire Limited is a social company that has as its main mission to provide job training and employment to people with disabilities. The reason for this is to address a gap in the labor market that doesn't offer supportive settings or a road to take a path toward an employment path that suits their needs.
The umbrella organization supports a number of enterprises in order to reinvest its profits toward the social aim. The projects themselves include the Frogmeadow Community Cafe, Green Horizons Gardening Services, Oak Farm Tea Rooms and Shop. Former initiatives include the Wheelz Bicycle Recycling program and the Old Print Works Coffee Shop. The mission is founded on the belief that local business development can develop sustainability in terms of wealth circulation as well as the expansion of social capital.
