The Original Penguin x Nick Wooster 'Below The Belt' provides the perfect way to reinvent the khaki pant.
The American clothing line Original Penguin commissioned four fashion industry influencers in the 'Below The Belt' project. The project gives the influencers a chance to style the classic Penguin chino with their own flavor and spice. So far the project commissioned John Jannuzzi and Way Perry, yet in this video they collaborate with Nick Wooster. The sartorialist Wooster has become an Internet street-style icon with his tattoos and well-tailored clothing providing the perfect match for styling advice.
Wooster saw the khaki pant as the perfect blank canvas for this DIY spin. Using spray paint and stencils of the iconic Penguin, polka dots and stripes, Wooster transformed the chinos from bland to bold. Men and women can both take some advice from Wooster in crafting and original style.
