This website and related Instagram account feature original definitions for nameless emotions everyone still feels. Created by John Koenig, The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows (@thedictionaryofobscuresorrows) "aims to give a name to emotions we all might experience but don't yet have a word for." A few of the newly coined terms also have videos to further explain their meaning.
Some have overt references to popular culture, such as "the McFly effect," which has to do with seeing your parents interact with people they knew in their youth. In addition to describing a feeling you might have been searching for a way to describe, the original definitions in themselves are extremely well written and might invoke emotions separate from what they are describing.
