Many of us may be going through withdrawls after binge-watching season two of OITNB, but don't worry; Gilt is keeping the series very much alive with its Orange is the New Black sale.
The company was inspired by the series' second episode, which centered around the prison's mock job fair competition. In order to prepare for their post-prison future, the inmates chose interview-appropriate attire and constructed resumes. Similarly, Gilt's flash sale is comprised of elegant, work wear and accessories. For every piece sold, one item will be donated to 'Dress for Success,' which was the non-profit organization featured on the episode. The organization is dedicated to providing professional clothing to disadvantaged women as they prepare to re-enter the workforce.
There's nothing I love more than looking fashionable for a good cause. The fact that the sale was inspired by one of the most progressive television series out there at the moment is the cherry on top!
