At first the Oral-B Dental Floss campaign may look like it is tackling the issue of censorship when in reality it is addressing the dark truth about food trapped in teeth. While some people prefer to take a more roundabout route to removing it, this ad campaign shows that flossing is a timeless solution for a reason, it always works. So instead of searching for it through hi-tech means, in this hilarious case, using Google Maps, the campaign promotes getting back to basics.
Conceived and executed by Publicis, an ad agency based in Brazil, the Oral-B Dental Floss campaign was art directed and copy written by Leo Macias with creative direction by Hugo Rodrigues. It was shot by photographer Maurício Nahas and illustrated by digital artist Boreal, both of whom gave it a dark twist.
