OpenAI’s CEO of Applications, Fidji Simo, recently announced the OpenAI Jobs Platform, which will use artificial intelligence to match job-seekers with employers, help more people become fluent in AI, and even create jobs that don’t currently exist. This AI-powered hiring platform is expected to launch by mid-2026 to unlock more economic opportunities for all.
Whether they're looking for an AI-savvy employee for a long-term role or a one-off task, people in business want assurance that the candidate they hire is knowledgeable and experienced. As such, the new OpenAI Certifications will expand the free, online OpenAI Academy that launched earlier this year with training ranging from basic AI literacy to more advanced skills such as prompt engineering. What's more, OpenAI is on a mission to certify 10 million Americans by 2030.
