Superteam Wheels is introducing one-piece carbon wheelsets through its new premium brand, MATIC, with the S68 designed for competitive road cyclists. Unlike conventional split-molded designs, the wheelset uses a specialized single-piece manufacturing process alongside hole-less rim construction to create a more integrated riding experience.
The MATIC S68 weighs 1,348 grams, with a 68mm rim depth and 16 spokes on each wheel. Its design underwent repeated adjustments based on testing by professional riders to refine performance. Priced at $2,999 USD, the wheelset will also be offered for $2,599 during a limited promotion beginning October 25, with complimentary lifetime after-sales support.
For Superteam Wheels, MATIC represents an expansion into higher-end cycling equipment. The specialized construction and competitive pricing could attract performance-focused riders while helping the company establish a stronger presence in the premium carbon wheel market.
