Isn't it cool that a camera made from wood? This is a prototype wooden camera from Olympus. It's made from Japanese cypress wood that grows between 100 -130 feet tall with a base diameter from two to five feet. Cypress wood is known for its quality, scent and durability. It's used to build Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples. Olympus claimed that cypress wood is much harder than engineering plastics such as polycarbonate resins. The camera will give you classic look and durability at the same time.
