Oishii Unveils its New Artisanal Upcycled Strawberry Jam
Oishii, the innovative farming company celebrated for its premium strawberries, has unveiled its first limited-edition artisanal jam collection, crafted in collaboration with the Michelin-starred chef Yuu Shimano. The collection features two unique varieties made with Oishii’s Koyo Berries, prized for their natural sweetness and well-balanced acidity.
The Daifuku-Inspired Strawberry Spread marries Oishii strawberries with koshian red bean paste, evoking the flavors of traditional Japanese mochi desserts. Complementing this, the Strawberry Yuzu Preserves, developed alongside Shimano, pair strawberries with Japanese yuzu citrus, delivering a bright, tangy twist.
“This collaboration honours our shared history, Japanese heritage and commitment to excellence. The combination of strawberries and yuzu reflects my approach to creating bold yet harmonious flavours," said Chef Shimano.
