A Toronto-based company by the name of Daymak has developed an exceptionally rugged off-road mobility scooter, dubbed the Boomer Beast, that is designed to take its place as "the first true on-road/off-road mobility scooter in the marketplace."
This off-road mobility scooter works in conjunction with a smartphone app that users can leverage to optimize various aspects of their performance by controlling parameters such as acceleration, range and torque. The scooter can achieve a maximum speed of 15 km/h on paved roads and 40 km/h off-road. It weighs in at 120 kg and is capable of carrying loads up to 158 kg.
