High-Refresh Android Tablet Series

Xiaomi Offers Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro

Xiaomi's Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro are Android tablets built for performance and productivity, featuring 144Hz LCD panels and Snapdragon 8-series processors. The pair run HyperOS 4 and are presented with keyboard and stylus support, with the Pro singled out by higher RAM and battery figures. Both tablets aim to balance thin profiles with large batteries and bright screens.

The Pad 9 uses an 11.2-inch 3.2K display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, a 9,720mAh battery and supports 45W charging. The Pad 9 Pro steps up to a 12.5-inch panel, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, an 11,000mAh battery with 67W charging, up to 16GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The Pro reaches 1,000 nits peak brightness while the Pad 9 is rated to 800 nits, and both weigh just under 500g.

Software additions target productivity with WPS for Pad, CapCut Pro, an AI office suite and cross-platform task execution. The hardware mix delivers smoother visuals and extended runtime for long meetings and video playback. Pre-orders began in China with entry prices starting at ¥2,999 and ¥3,799, indicating Xiaomi is positioning the series as a high-refresh, work-capable tablet family.
