OCAD University & CSI Partner for Creative Entrepreneurship

Imagination Catalyst, OCAD's entrepreneurship and incubator program, will now house OCAD University and CSI's partner program focusing on social and creative entrepreneurship specifically.

"Leveraging the assets of both partnerships, OCAD University will be creating a social innovation and social enterprise stream within the Imagination Catalyst – OCAD U’s creative entrepreneurship accelerator - and three residencies will be earmarked for CSI members," CSI announced the partnership. "In addition, the Centre for Social Innovation will open its doors to welcome the 20 Imagination Catalyst participants into our vibrant community with all of the incredible benefits of membership."

OCAD University and CSI's partnership is a great example of how social enterprise can be harnessed to innovate education. It'll be interesting to see how other universities -- and especially those in Toronto -- will react to this exciting new program stream.
