02 Treehouse, an international network of franchise-based rental treehouses, has unveiled its first modular glamping treehouse tent. The new rental home is located in Northern California and was designed using what the company calls a "Tetratruss system."
The Tetratruss system utilizes struts and hubs to connect various permutations. It can be used to create platforms, bridges, decks, walkways, and -- apparently -- treehouses. Guests enter the tree tent via a tetratruss staircase, which can be elevated via a hammock-like construction or with solid stilts. Inside, the structure boasts elegant woodwork, maple walls, and cedar slab countertops.
In addition, guests can expect all the basic amenities from this tree-top home. For example, it comes furnished with a queen-sized bed and built-in benches. Other features include built-in bookcases, a dining bar, a zipper window.
