NYXI Gaming has debuted the ‘Gamecube Wavebird,’ a nostalgic, retro-style controller designed for the modern Nintendo Switch. ‘The Wizard’ uses an ergonomic design that can be customized for different genres on Switch. Additionally, the controller offers choices for turbo and mapping in addition to replacement joysticks to better match a player's gameplay.
‘The Wizard' also boasts hall effect joysticks using magnets that move relative to an electric conductor would relieve players from the issue of stick drift. The exterior resembles the old GameCube controller, opting for a sleek purple case and multicolor buttons that arrive in green, grey, red, and yellow.
The Wizard controller by NYXI retails for $70 USD and is available online on the brand’s website.
