Berlin-based photographer Nadya-Vanessa Vega, who works under the pseudonym nomnomvega, has a knack for simultaneously conveying strength and vulnerability in her images.
The subjects of Vega's photos seem confident with both their bodies and their sexuality, but this confidence is tempered with a sensitivity and sense of compassion. Vega doesn't necessarily seek out a certain "type" of subject, but gravitates towards those with an undeniable charisma or spark, which she then attempts to translate in her photo.
When it comes to the future of her work, Vega explains, "I don’t have an annual agenda of what I want to achieve, but I am naturally driven to improve myself and evolve. Let life happen around me and hope that my pictures will find international acknowledgement."
