Nicholas Daley Teams Up With Sub Sun for the '60s-Inspired Sunglasses

London designer Nicholas Daley taps Sub Sun, a unisex eyewear brand, for its new Spring/Summer 2023 collection titled 'Calypso.' 'Calypso' comprises one unique frame inspired by the 60s and made with Mazzuccelli Acetate. The glasses' design features an avant-garde curved shape, colored lenses, and thick, exaggerated frames. The design comes in two colorways: green and purple.

Sub Sun, founded by Bradley Zero, primarily produces unisex sunglasses inspired by the city of London and other influences from Zero's life.

“I am very excited to collaborate with Sub Sun frames for this SS23 season,” said Daley in a statement. “Even more exciting is working together with long-time friend of the brand and past season collaborator Bradley Zero, founder of Sub Sun, on this exclusive frame and supporting another independent business through our creative worlds.”

On April 30, select retailers and the websites of Nicholas Daley and Sub Sun will debut the collaborative collection.
