The New Vans Collection Features Artistic Woven Designs

These new Vans shoes put creative designs on the brand's classic silhouettes.

Although the company is based in California and often inspired by Californian lifestyles and fashions, the 'Italian Weave' pack by Vans is inspired by a completely different geographic location. The new Vans replicate the look of woven art and the result is six different shoe designs -- three in high tops silhouettes and three in the slip-on silhouette -- that are both subtle and fashionable. The company used weaving techniques to make it appear as though the colors blend into one another or form geometric shapes.

The Italian Weave collection of shoes diversifies Vans' design inspiration and as a result, their consumer base.
