Samsung is Teasing the Public with Its New Foldable Phone

Rumors of a new foldable phone concept by Samsung are on the rise, as the tech giant announced its plans for a follow-up product at the 2019 SDC Conference. Inspired by the Galaxy Fold, the brand is venturing to perfect its original idea by tweaking features for user experience, increasing functionality, as well as convenience. Samsung even goes as far to state that the developers are working on a concept that seeks to "change the way [consumers] use [their] phones.

The new foldable phone takes stylistic cues from the aesthetics of the flip phone -- a favorite from the early 2000s and a mobile format that was surely incredibly convenient to use, but one that did not meet the evolving needs of the smartphone.
