Nike works in collaboration with UNDEFEATED on a new Air Max 97 sneaker model for the season, celebrating UCLA Bruins. This is translated through the colorway and the shoes have the streetwear label's branding throughout the entire shoe, reading "UNDEFEATED" throughout. The colorway references white and Sail and applied on mesh and leather materials throughout the upper.
There are also Aero Blue and Midwest Gold as the accenting hues to add some tonal contrast. As another nod to the university, there are yellow tabs with UNDEFEATED on the tongue as well. There is also references to Nike in bright blue. Co-branding details at the insoles and reflective accents are informed by 3M materials before being rounded out by clean white midsoles and gum rubber outsoles.
