UGREEN has introduced the NASync DXP GT lineup — a new series of network-attached storage devices distinguished by their integration of AMD Ryzen Embedded R2514 processors and dual 10GbE networking ports. This release marks a significant performance upgrade within the company's NASync family.
The lineup consists of two models, the DXP4800 GT and the DXP2800 GT, with the former supporting up to 144 terabytes of storage across four bays and the latter accommodating up to 80 terabytes across two bays. Both of these network-attached storage devices offer dual M.2 NVMe SSD slots for caching or additional storage, along with convenient SD card and USB ports for rapid media ingestion.
UGREEN's systems run on the updated UGOS Pro operating system, which now includes a Surveillance Center application for centralizing home security footage management. The innovations provide robust data protection through RAID configurations and encryption, all without imposing recurring subscription fees for accessing stored content.

Why This Trend Is Growing
- High-speed Home NAS
- Multi-gigabit networking and embedded processors are turning local storage appliances into compact performance hubs for creators, small offices, and data-heavy households.
- Subscription-free Data Control
- Local-first storage platforms with encryption and RAID protections signal growing demand for private content access without recurring cloud service costs.
- Integrated Surveillance Storage
- Security footage management built directly into NAS operating systems creates new value around centralized home monitoring, retention, and privacy-preserving video archives.
Industries Being Reshaped
- Consumer Electronics
- Performance-focused NAS devices broaden the smart home hardware category by combining media ingestion, backup, and security management in a single appliance.
- Data Storage
- The addition of NVMe caching, large bay capacities, and dual 10GbE ports reflects a shift toward prosumer-grade infrastructure for localized high-volume workflows.
- Home Security
- NAS-based surveillance applications introduce an alternative to cloud-dependent camera ecosystems by keeping footage storage and access within user-controlled environments.
