These donut macarons cleverly fuse together two favorite cult deserts into one delicious bite-sized confectionery. The donut macaron dough is a clever twist on the traditional French macaron recipe of flour, eggs and sugar. Instead of traditional flour, these gluten-free donuts are made with almond flour. Inside the macarons is a layer of delicious cream. Each macaron is decorated to look like a sprinkled donut with colorful icing and technicolor sprinkles.
