The photo restoration features use technology that MyHeritage exclusively licensed from DeOldify, a technology developed by deep learning experts Jason Antic and Dana Kelley. This technique includes recovering faded colors, fixing scratches, and boosting image resolution.
Consumers can upload a photo from their camera roll or scan a physical image from their collection of memories to start editing.
The Reimagine app is available for iOS and Android.
