A perfectly practical piece of furniture can of course be made from unconventional materials. Just look at the MT 01 Table. It consists of a broad and level tabletop and four supportive legs to keep it elevated and steady. The bulk of the structure is, however, made of connected pipes.
Dosuno Design made use of the Open Tap technique for assembling this unusual kitchen table. Such a system requires galvanized piping make up the main building unit -- a material that unfortunately could not be used to effectively create an eating surface.
A large piece of plywood acts as the top of the MT 01 Table, held in place by angled elliptical holes which allow the ducts to pass through the middle at 45 degrees. This arrangement enables the dining table to stay together without any screws or adhesives.
