The Vogue China Modern Pastel editorial features model Tian Yi amid a linear backdrop. Stylist Yi Guo's incorporation of airy apparel ushers in the coming warm weather slightly preemptively, allowing readers to get a peak at spring's up and coming looks.

Modern Pastel will be showcased in the January 2013 issue of Vogue China. Photographer Stockton Johnson did an excellent job of making Yi's features pop out in front of the strips of black and white. Guo's inclusion of peaches, powder blues and soft yellows proved essential to his work as they made the production appear all the more vibrant. These shades also came in the forms of suits, trench coats and skinny pants, offering several ensembles options.
