One of the most interesting parts of this infographic is the list of five most mobile-connected restaurant, food and hospitality brands. Redbull leads the way in this category followed by Starbucks, Whole Foods, McDonalds and Chipotle.
The leading demographics in mobile social consumer use and activity with restaurants are women aged 18-34 followed by men of the same age. After that, males 35-49 followed by women of the same age. This means younger women are interacting with restaurants more than younger men, but once over 34, men take over. Most of these interactions are restaurant searches, restaurant review searches and restaurant menus.
