Essentially an adjustable shelf with wheels, the invention incorporates planters and flower pots in the place of ledges, paired with overflow trays and perforated bases. The contraption can be rolled from inside of the house to the balcony or the porch, poised to receive falling raindrops and rays from the beaming sun.
Designer Nancy Wang addresses the cycle of growth in her Mobile Food Garden, suggesting that thriving herbs should be placed on the top of the trolley while germinating seeds rest at its base. Water collection and a worm farm are integrated as well, so to encourage environmentally responsible activities and the rich nourishment of the sprouting seedlings.
