Lobster-Focused Mobile Dining Experiences

Cousins Maine Lobster Comes to Des Moines Area

Cousins Maine Lobster, a nationally recognized fast-casual seafood brand that began with a single food truck in 2012 and has since expanded to 50 locations through franchising, is bringing its mobile dining experience to the Des Moines metropolitan area with a new food truck that will celebrate its grand opening on August 22. The menu of this dining venture will delight individuals with wild-caught Maine lobster preparations.

The franchisee leading this expansion, Karan Singh, is already experienced within the company’s system and plans to position the truck at community events, breweries, local businesses, and neighborhood gatherings throughout Central Iowa. For consumers in the Des Moines area, the primary interest lies in the opportunity to enjoy premium seafood that is typically associated with coastal New England.

The menu features classic options such as the Maine Roll, served chilled with mayonnaise; the Connecticut Roll, served warm with butter and lemon; and the Garlic Butter Roll, which adds Parmesan and seasonings.
