The MindOn Unitree G1 Performs Tasks Without Teleoperation

In a new video from a China-based startup, household tasks like watering plants, closing the curtains and tidying up are taken care of by the MindOn Unitree G1 humanoid robot with natural, fluid movements. While there are some humanoid household robots with similar capabilities, what sets this robot built by Unitree apart is that it involves no teleoperation.

MindOn trained Unitree G1 to do common household chores that require sensitivity and dexterity, ranging from delivering gifts and opening drinks to wiping down surfaces, offering a potential vision for the future where robots and humans may co-exist.

The mobile humanoid robot stands about 4'3" tall and integrates features like a depth camera, a speaker and joints that allow for plenty of natural movement to support basic tasks.
