President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama recently hosted British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha Cameron at the British White House State Dinner in Washington, DC.
First Lady Michelle Obama chose to wear a stunning draped teal column dress for the occasion. Michelle Obama has gained recognition in the past for her sartorial choices and especially for promoting American designers. The First Lady accessorized the flattering Marchesa gown with a bold statement necklace called "Pearls in Peril" by Tom Binns.
Samantha Cameron wore a blue floral gown by British designer Alessandra Rich.
Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman was present at the dinner, in addition to other top Obama fundraisers including George Clooney, Anna Wintour and Warren Buffet.
