The Macallan is set to offer its 'Distil Your World Mexico Single Cask Limited Edition' at Sotheby’s charity auction, with all proceeds benefiting Esperanza International, an organization dedicated to home building and community development in Mexico. This exclusive whisky, inspired by Mexico City and the Day of the Dead, is one of only two bottles ever created; while Bottle #1 will remain in The Macallan archives, Bottle #2 will be available for bidding.

As part of the ongoing 'Distil Your World' series, which has previously highlighted London and New York City, this edition seeks to capture the essence of Mexico’s cultural heritage. It features "notes of dulce de leche, cinnamon-dusted churros, and charred pineapple, offering a distinctive flavor profile." Additionally, the bottle is presented in a marigold-themed box and includes original artwork by Alfredo Rios.
The auction will take place from March 5 to March 21, with an estimated value ranging from $30,000 to $80,000.
