Vibrant Handcrafted Audio Exhibits

McIntosh x Virgil Abloh Partner for an Exclusive Prototype

McIntosh x Virgil Abloh is featured in the 'Virgil Abloh: The Codes' exhibition, organized by the Virgil Abloh Archive™ at the Grand Palais during Paris Fashion Week. Central to this presentation is the debut of the' McIntosh MA8950 x Virgil Abloh Integrated Amplifier, displayed alongside a range of Abloh’s works in fashion, design, music, and art.

The amplifier originated from a concept Abloh proposed in 2020 and was developed by McIntosh for the exhibition. It reflects an investigation into the "connection between sound and design, a recurring theme in Abloh’s creative practice as music informed his broader cultural outlook and influenced much of his multidisciplinary output."

Built upon McIntosh’s 'MA8950' integrated amplifier, this collaborative piece is distinguished by a bold orange finish, a color often used by Abloh. On display through October 9, the piece highlights how design and sound intersect within cultural expression.
