McDonald's Extra Value Meals are Back as a Budget-Friendly Option

The McDonald's Extra Value Meals are being revived by the brand as part of its initiative to offer its customers a competitively priced meal option this fall. The meal menu will make its formal debut September 8, 2025 and will offer guests their choice of a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder burger, McCrispy Sandwich or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets with a medium fries and medium soft drink for $8. The brand will also be offering a $5 Sauce McMuffin with Egg meal that comes with a small coffee and hash brown as a cost-effective breakfast option.

President Joe Erlinger spoke on the revival of the McDonald's Extra Value Meals saying, "McDonald’s USA is laser-focused on delivering value and affordability for our customers, and I’m incredibly proud of how our franchisees and teams continue to step up to make it a reality. From the $5 Meal Deal to McValue and now Extra Value Meals, we’re sending a clear message: we’re here for our customers. McDonald’s will always be a place where you can get the food you love at a price that fits your life.”
