The Tokyo branch of the international firm recently employed an artificially intelligent robot in a creative director position.
The AI-CD β robot was developed by McCann Japan to provide creative direction on commercials. More specifically, it will offer input relating to the mining and analyzation of advert databases to determine the best commercials for products and messages. It is able to research historical ads faster than any human, and therefore provide faster turn-around to clients. The AI employee is seen as a part of the team, rather than competition to co-workers.
