Meta introduces its new Massively Multilingual Speech Project, also known as the MMS Project, which is a brand new AI-generated language model. The system is designed to understand over 4,000 languages across the world and is able to produce speech in over 1,100 of these languages.
It functions similarly to other AI systems and is available as an open-source tool to help preserve the diversity of the globe's languages and aids users in accessing the platform in their preferred language.
