Instead, the fashion simply alludes to this underwater creature as do the seashell props. Otherwise, the overall shoot is a shadow of the fairy tale world it references.

Set both outdoors and in as well as in color and black and white, the photo shoot starring Martyna Ziemska by Patricia Imbarus has a soft glow that further romanticizes it. It is filled with sequins, paillettes, pearls and metallics, which shimmer quietly in the afternoon sun. The series was styled by Annalisa Frob Arcando with natural makeup by Sanda Chercheja.
