Making use of a clear Marie-Antoinette inspiration, a photographer known as Papa Rob lensed a series of different women in varying lights to speak to the late queen's legacy.
Throughout, he depicts the women as fearless, liberated and full of attitude, all while they model an iconic white wig that likens them to her. Throughout some of the images, Papa Rob shows a starkly pale woman who is holding up feathered props, butterflies and a fan while wearing pink lingerie or nothing at all.
Another woman poses with a demure expression and a cup of tea in hand, with her look of elegance making the Marie-Antoinette inspiration especially clear. Throughout each, Papa Rob plays with color by overexposing the light in the images, making for an artful series that revitalizes perceptions of the iconic queen.
