Sustainable Eraser Packaging

Maped Erasers Receive Transparent Paper Packaging Using Cristal Paper

Maped, the renowned stationery brand, is joining forces with Ahlstrom and Adapa to revolutionize eraser packaging with a sustainable and innovative solution. The three companies have developed a transparent flow pack for erasers, utilizing Ahlstrom's Cristal base paper.

Cristal is a flexible paper that offers different levels of transparency, serving as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastic films for all-paper packaging. This unique paper is manufactured from natural cellulose fibers, making it a sustainable choice while still offering the same functionality and durability as conventional plastic packaging.

"By offering a transparent paper alternative, we empower companies and consumers to find fiber-based alternatives for traditional plastic or film substrates without sacrificing functionality or aesthetics," said Guillaume Lavoue, product manager at Ahlstrom.
