Using a mouse for extended periods often leads to discomfort, cramping or worse, so the conceptual 'Manta Mouse' has been designed as an ergonomic alternative that could stave off the effects of long-term computer use.
Designed by Alberto Aguado Baudil for Render Weekly, the mouse features a flat aesthetic that is inspired by the sea creature it shares a name with and appears to be crafted from cork that has been darkened. This natural material would help to create a soft, undulating experience for the user that is far different from the hard plastic that other options on the market are traditionally crafted from.
The conceptual 'Manta Mouse' also offers extended hand support thanks to the flattened design that extends outward in all directions.
