Implications - Though today's youth consumer has shorter hair and less experience with hallucinogens, generation Y could still be considered the modern hippie. Youth today are just as curious about their government and existence as the youth of the 1960s, and is involved in values of love, freedom and positivity. Companies that communicate this message of peace over glamor are sure to gain benefit.
