Stocking-Covered Faces in Interview Magazine
References: interviewmagazine & suprememanagement
The September 2008 issue of Interview Magazine featured a rather peculiar sanatorium-themed fashion editorial entitled “Maison Martin Margiela” that features the creative designs of fashion designer Martin Margiela.
Photographer Craig McDean captured model Natasa Vojnovic in a padded white cell with scratched and torn walls. Fashion editor Karl Templer complemented Vojnovic’s mental illness poses with flesh-toned stocking covering her face, which made for a rather creepy visual.
This is not your typical fashion editorial, but I wouldn’t expect that from a creative force such as Interview Magazine.
