Le Coq Sportif Enters a Sizable Collaboration with Three Others

The R800 are a pair of made-in-France sneakers and the silhouette was originally conceived by Le Coq Sportif. In an attempt to shake things up, the popular sportswear company enters a sizable collaboration with Afew, DJ Rafik, 24 Kilates to produce a t-shirt design, as well as a new iteration for the R800 made-in-France sneakers.

The new version is dubbed 'Crane Network' and the name pays homeage "to a party held by DJ Rafik and the 24 Kilates Crew [...] in Barcelona in 2017." As a result, it is obvious that the new R800 silhouette has roots in the music industry. Each collaborator is recognized on the upper of the shoe through stylistically driven branding, while the insoles pay homeage to the global nature of the partnership.
